Job Description:
Instructors work with students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences in a virtual environment. Mastery of the content area is required. Prior experience in Advanced Placement also desired. Additional training opportunities in Advanced Placement and online facilitation will be offered.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required with Masters preferred. Must hold or be eligible for a valid Virginia Teachers License with an endorsement in Mathematics.

North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM), located in Durham, North Carolina needs a long-term substitute for two classes of Honors Forensics from Sept 22, 2008 to Jan 20, 2009. This course, provided by the Distance Education Department, is scheduled from 8-9:30 am and 11:05-12:30, Monday-Friday, in a real-time interactive format to high school students in their local school throughout NC. We would be interested in any qualified instructor who could teach via web conferencing/online or via interactive videoconferencing from your location, within the United States, with preference to locations within North Carolina.
