Use WiZiQ’s virtual classroom equipped with live audio-video communication, chat, content sharing, and session recording capabilities. No download is required since it
works with any web browser and on any operating system. This looks like an interesting synchronous environment. Something like elluminate light ? No evidence of threaded discussion capability. Caught this via a blog talking about how to integrate Wiziq into Moodle (which would get you asynch communications?) - BuzzDash – HOMEweb 2.0 oriented polls. Easy to build short polls, with code export for blogs, webpages etc. This is a fun little polling system tied into a web 2.0 community structure. I played with it and posted a poll to my information fluency group at the teacherlibrarian ning. It’s working.
