E-Learning and Online Teaching Jobs!

Hudson County Community College has an immediate need for qualified individuals to teach the following on-line courses. (Semester start date: August 29, 2012)

· Sociology
· Introduction to Film
· World Literature
· Cultural Anthropology

REQUIRMENTS: A Master’s degree in the discipline is required; college teaching experience preferred and prior experience teaching online required. Two years of college-level teaching experience, preferably at the community college level. Demonstrated knowledge of modern technology and its use in the classroom, ability to provide diverse teaching methods and learning styles and excellence in teaching and the ability to teach students from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Finalists will be required to submit official transcripts.

PREFERRED: Blackboard experience preferred and experience in distance education. Proficiency with various computer software programs including Microsoft Office suite including Access and Excel, and experience with Ellucian (formerly Datatel) Colleague or similar higher education platform is preferred.
