Opportunity for experienced MBA Adjunct Professors to join a fast growing, quality, For-Profit educational institution.  The top accredited and highly ranked Fox School of Business at Temple University  is partnering with Progressive Business Publications, a specialized information and executive education company, to offer high quality post graduate courses in an online environment. Anticipated launch is September 2009.

Mission

There is no onsite requirement.  Adjuncts can work from anywhere.

This position will primarily be responsible to assure executive quality online learning for students. Adjuncts will ensure student satisfaction through the coursework according to our program objectives.

Adjuncts are required to be online a minimum of 15 minutes each day to ensure timely response to student needs.

We seek subject matter experts in the following areas to facilitate adult online learning

1.  Accounting & Corporate Finance

2.  Marketing

3.  Human Resources Issues

4.  Strategic Thinking, Business Growth

5.  Leadership Dynamics

6.  Information Technology

Note: The Adjunct will not:

• Develop curriculum
• Create assignments
• Be responsible for assigning readings

Only Responsibilities include:

• Motivate students to actively participate in online discussion
• Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students
• Facilitate the online discussion
• Monitor student participation
• Respond to course-related questions
• Review assignments & assessments
• Determine student performance/grade at pass-fail level
• Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught.

Master degree in business-related areas or higher is required.​  All degrees must be from accredited institutions.

• Have experience teaching at an accredited higher education institution, current or within the last year.
• Must have excellent written communication skills and be able to communicate  effectively and clearly in an online learning environment.
• Organizational and motivational skills also essential.
• Helpful if experience in learning platform.
