UW-Stout: Good Training Opens the Door to Your Future

KC Distance Learning is seeking a consultant with extensive knowledge of best practices in elementary education. The best candidates will have most or all of the following characteristics:

  • Knowledge of the most effective means of bringing students to excellence in literacy and/or math.
  • Familiarity with the best technology resources for achieving student success.
  • Understanding of child development and the application of discoveries in neuroscience to classroom instruction.
  • Experience with the application of general learning theory, including Understanding by Design and Differentiation.
  • Creativity and flexibility in finding ways to adapt best practices in the classroom to the online environment.
