An exciting opportunity awaits a successful candidate to work in a professional, collaborative role with instructional designers and E-Learning team members to provide friendly, knowledgeable support to end users. You will be responsible for building online courses and components for on-campus courses through the use of templates applied to course content in the College’s learning management system. Provide technical customer service to faculty and students; meet tasks objectives and timelines; monitor and expedite the progress of courses during production to assure the readability, coherence, accuracy, and conformity to style and quality standards in course materials.
This position requires the finalist to have Web and other Internet technology skills to provide students, faculty, and administrators with high quality and robust courses offered through the College’s online curriculum. Must have proficiencies with HTML, editing tools for Web text and graphics, as well as principles for creating accessible and usable Web pages. A Bachelor’s degree, excellent writing, editing, and documentations skills, as well as a positive approach to customer service, and the ability to effectively complete tasks and projects in a deadline-driven environment is necessary for success in the role. Prior experience fielding customer service calls and emails is preferred. Telecommuting may be possible.
